Kimberton wins 4 trophies at Phoenixville's 150th parade & celebration

Saturday May 18, 2024. Kimberton volunteers spent allot of time over the last week cleaning up their fire trucks in an effort to present well at Phoenix Hose Hook and Ladder's 150th celebration and parade. It must have worked, as they came home with Four (4) trophies. The Kimberton Fire Co also presented Phoenix #1 with a 12X15 Rosewood plaque in celebration of the day and the past support. Three (3) calls for Friday

Friday May 10, 2024. Today brought three (3) calls for firefighters. The first call was around noon for an accident on Rapps Dam Rd at the covered bridge. There were no injuries upon arrival, but firefighters assisted with traffic control until the cars could be removed.
The 2nd call was at 7:30 PM on Pughtown Rd at French Creek Road in West Vincent. Units were on the scene in minutes and found ... (Full Story & Photos)

Car Fire damages a home

Tuesday March 19, 2024. This car fire call came in at 3:24 AM in the unit block of Glenview Rd in Charlestown Township. First in crews encountered the front end of a car well involved in flames and trying to extend into the house. Kimberton firefighters made quick work of the car fire, while others checked for extension on the house. No fire made it into the home but as you can see in the photos, ... (Full Story & Photos)

Accident with overturned car on Schuylkill Rd

Friday March 1, 2024. This accident came in around 6:40 PM on Schuylkill Road in front of the Burger King. There were 4 vehicles involved in this crash, one of which was overturned. Route 23 (Schuylkill Rd) was close between Rapps Dam Road and Township Line Rd. Nobody was transported to the hospital by Ambulance.
