BRUSH FIRE BURNS 1/2 ACRE IN WEST VINCENT

At 12:18 PM crews from Kimberton Fire were alerted for a brush fire on Kimberton Road off Pughtown Road in West Vincent Township. Crews found about a 1/2 acre burning next to the home. Firefighters used two (2) hose lines to extinguish this fire. The fire was quickly brought under control. The cause of the fire was determined to be from the burning of a brush pile to close to dry brush. Chief Gable has command with the Deputy Chief having operations.

As crews were taking up from this call, they were alerted to assist Phoenixville FD on a house fire. Units cleared at 1 PM.
