AT 8:12 AM Kimberton Firefighters began their day with an accident that was reported to be serious involving an overturned box truck. The accident was on Route 23 (Schuylkill Road) at Otts Lane. Crews responded with the Rescue, an Engine and 2 Chiefs. The driver refused EMS services upon arrival, as Fire crews, Police and Fire Police attempted to control the busy morning traffic.

Before the rescue cleared the scene, they were alerted to another vehicle accident on Hares Hill Rd at Route 23 involving a tractor trailer. That incident is show in the next story. The Fire Police remained at this incident while crews left for the 2nd wreck.
