AT 10:55 AM Communications alerted Kimberton (61) Fire and West End (67) EMS for an accident on Charlestown Rd at Pickering Dam Road in Charlestown Township. Crews found a four (4) vehicle accident, with 1 injured and trapped. Fire and EMS personnel were quickly able to remove the driver and get him into the waiting MICU. Pictured, you can see how the vehicle ended up on the embankment, and only kept there by resting on the other vehicle. Fire department personnel closed down Charlestown Road for over an hour while crews worked to clean up the debris and remove the vehicles. Deputy Chief Fields had command and units cleared by 12: 15 PM.
