This accident occurred at 1:21 this afternoon at Coldstream Rd & Merlin Rd in East Pikeland Twp. Responding were; Kimberton (61) Fire and Spring City (82A) Ambulance. Within two (2) minutes Deputy Chief Fields was on the scene and took command. A second Ambulance was requested bringing an Ambulance from Royersford who was just leaving the Phoenixville Hospital. Kimberton EMT's began care of both injured drivers and eventually worked with ambulance crews until they were loaded into the ambulance for transport. Both drivers went to Phoenixville Hospital. Afterwards firefighters swept the roadway and cleaned up fluids from the street. Crews also closed down Coldstream Road for about 45 minutes. Units cleared by 2 PM.
