FIREFIGHTERS VISIT ZION LUTHERAN FOR FIRE PREVENTION WEEK

October 10, 2017

On Monday October 9th and Tuesday October 10th, The Kimberton Fire Company visited the Zion Lutheran Preschool to teach the children about fire safety. Firefighters showed the children what a Firefighter looks like when they wear their gear and air pack. This is designed so the children understand that its just part of a firefighter's equipment and they are not scary. They are then encouraged to come close to the Firefighter and give them a High-Five. The children learned & practiced how to Stop Drop and Roll. This is part of a yearly program with the teachers at Zion.
