KIMBERTON ASSISTS ON BARN FIRE

By Deputy Chief Chuck Fields
October 25, 2017

This Barn fire came in at 7:35 AM in the 200 block of Ridge Road (Route 23). Kimberton volunteers responded with the Engine, Rescue, Utility, and both Tankers to assist Station 62 (Ridge Fire Co). Crews from multiple departments responded with their tankers to assist with the water supply. Kimberton personnel eventually brought the new Tower Ladder to the scene (as they needed the extended reach of the unit) to assist, although the unit is not yet in service. Crews finally cleared the scene just before 9 PM.
Special thanks to Brian Hammond, Tom Kelly and Mark Hughes for their photos.
