After a full month of constant Training, Chief Gable placed the new Tower Ladder officially into service. The specifications for the new unit were put together by a committee of volunteers from the Kimberton FD. The group worked to design a truck specific to the needs of the area and the Fire Department. After a full year in the building process, the unit was delivered this fall, and on November 29th the unit was officially placed into service.

The truck is a 2017 Seagrave Appollo II, 105 foot Tower Ladder. Built on a Marauder II Chassis, the unit is equipped with a 2000 gallon per minute pump and 300 gallons of water. The truck carries 177 feet of ground ladders, Rapid Intervention Equipment, Multiple Positive pressure Fans and Truck Company equipment.
