AT 2:45 PM Crews were alerted for an accident on Route 113 in front of the Citadel Bank. Kimberton Volunteers were first on the scene with the Rescue, Utility and the Deputy Chief. Crews found a three (3) vehicle accident blocking the entrance to the shopping center. EMT's from Kimberton Fire and Royersford Ambulance (M325) checked each of the drivers for injuries. During this process, firefighters contained an antifreeze leak running down the street towards a storm water drain and worked to keep traffic moving down Route 113 and into the shopping center. Responders remained on the scene until the tow truck arrived and cleared the scene within 30 minutes.

Shortly after returning to station - Crews responded to a house fire assignment in Phoenixville with Tower 61. This incident turned out to be a heater smoking and units were quickly released from the scene by the Phoenixville FD Units.

Later in the Day around 6 PM, Kimberton Volunteers responded to a Chimney fire on Pine Drive. Crews spent an hour at this incident.
