Brush Fire season officially took off on Friday April 13th. The warm weather along with the dryness brought brush and woods fires throughout Friday and Saturday. This incident occurred on Friday morning just before noon on Rapps Dam Road at Camp Council Rd next to the covered bridge. Firefighters joined the road crew and Police in quickly containing this fire. Crews cleared within 20 minutes.
