Kimberton and Phoenixville FD Volunteers spent their Thursday evening getting trained on administering Narcan to Drug Overdose patients. A state grant to Good Fellowship Ambulance in conjunction with the Chester County Drug and alcohol department allows police and fire to be issued this life saving drug. Before the FD can be given the drugs, the FD personnel must be properly trained on how and when to administer it. Units from the Kimberton FD will now carry this life saving drug.
