At 4:45 PM Volunteers from Kimberton Fire and West End EMS were alerted for an accident next to the Teach and Learn Day Care on Schuylkill Road. Crews found a car that had an accelerator pedal stick and the vehicle stuck the fence at the day care's playground. The facility was closed, as it was a Saturday. Crews assisted the driver, who was then transported to the Phoenixville Hospital by the West End Ambulance. Units cleared around 5:30 PM.
