Rte 29 accident

Around 8:40 this morning Kimberton fire Co. and West End Ambulance were alerted for an accident on Rte. 29 and Pickering Dam rds. with the report of 1 vehicle overturned upon arrival of units the driver was out of the vehicle She was checked by EMS and refused treatment. Driver was traveling North on Rte. 29 hit a large patch of ice and lost control of her vehicle the vehicle then flipped over rolling several times coming to rest on the bridge on it's side. The driver was wearing her seat belt allowing her to walk away from the accident. the road was closed for a little over half an hour and Penn Dot was called to salt the highway and crews cleared the scene.
