AT 10:37 PM Sunday evening, Alarm bells began ringing in the fire stations of: Phoenixville (65), Kimberton (61), Valley Forge (68), Black Rock (M55) and Trappe EMS (85) of Phoenixville. The alarm was for a working building fire in the 1900 block of Eland Downe. The building was a 5 unit building. First in crews found heavy fire coming from one of the units. Crews from Kimberton responded with the Tower, Engine and Rescue. Even with the heavy fire in the one unit, damages were basically limited to the apartment of origin. Crews cleared the scene just before 2 AM.
