Covered Bridge Room

The Covered Bridge Room is available for rent to all private and organization functions. All rental and catering proceeds benefit the volunteer Kimberton Fire Company.

Our facility accommodates seating for 100-320 people.

Onsite catering by our Auxiliary is available on a limited basis. Family-style or Buffet Menus are available. Meals are prepared in our onsite facilities. The room is also available to groups wishing to use outside food/beverage services provided by licensed and insured caterers approved by The Covered Bridge Room.

The Covered Bridge Room has unlimited possibilities to suit the needs of any type of event: banquets, wedding receptions and ceremonies, dances, reunions, holiday parties, trade shows and auctions. Our professional size stage also makes our facility suitable for theatrical or musical productions.

Our staff is personable and friendly, willing to cater to your every need!

Hall Rental Options

Several options are available which allow you to customize our services to meet your specific needs and budget.  Among these are:

    • Hall rental only (banquet room, foyer, stage)
      • 2011 - $1,000
      • 2012 - $1,050
    • Hall rental with Kitchen use
      (For use only by licensed and insured caterers approved by the Covered Bridge Room)
      • 2011 - $1,350.00
      • 2012 - $1,400.00
    • Hall rental with catering by our Fire Company Auxiliary

Event and Rental Times

Event Time Limit – 5 hours. Additional hours priced at $200.00 per hour. All events must be completed and all persons and items removed from the facility by 11:00 p.m.

Set Up Times – Hall Rental Only, Hall Rental with Kitchen Use

    • 4 hours the day before the event and
    • 3 hours prior on day of event

Set Up Times – Auxiliary Catered Event

    • Between 9 am – 4 pm day before the event
    • Beginning at 10 am day of event

Bar Operations

Alcoholic beverages are permitted; however the purchase and the serving of are the sole responsibility of the Contracting Party. The Covered Bridge Room does not own a liquor license, nor will it sponsor temporary licenses for other organizations.

Contracting Parties should verify with the PA Liquor Control Board to determine if a Special Occasion Permit is required for their event.

The Contracting Party and/or Caterer are responsible for obtaining all Special Occasion liquor permits, liquor liability insurance, beverages, party goods (ex: glasses, pitchers, napkins, plates, stirrers) and bartenders.

Bartenders are required to be neutral third-party persons who are professional or semi-professional bartenders, and may not be friends or relatives of the Contracting Party.

TIPS certified highly recommended (Training for Intervention ProcedureS - alcohol training and certification program that is designed to prevent intoxication, underage drinking, and drunk driving by enhancing the fundamental "people skills" of servers, sellers and consumers of alcohol.)

Alcoholic beverages, by State law, may not be served to or consumed by persons under the age of 21. The Covered Bridge Room management reserves the right to cease any bar operations.

Decorating

Decorations are at the discretion and cost of the Contracting Party.

Candles are permitted as long as the flame is contained within a vessel (ie – no open flame) and wax will be able to drip and be completely collected in a fireproof base container.

Wall decorations may be secured on the existing hooks.

The following are prohibited:

  • Tape on the floor and walls
  • Glitter or confetti on anything
  • Bubbles
  • Electrical cords in walkways

All contracts will include a $300.00 damage security fee which will be refunded to the Contracting Party if the facility is maintained properly during rental time.

Liability

Contracting party is solely responsible for conduct of its guests, any damages to the room, building or surrounding property, and hold The Covered Bridge Room harmless in the event any claim of loss arises.
