As you can see by the photo below, the cost to simply outfit a firefighter is terribly expensive.  With the cost of a simple Engine costing around $500,000.00 (half a million dollars), it is easy to see how expensive it is to run a volunteer fire department.   PLEASE help us, so we can be appropriately equipped to service you or a neighbor in your time of need.
