It’s all about our Volunteers and the enthusiasm and passion they bring to the job.
Fire Engines don’t put out fires – Firefighters do.
The Jaws-of-Life never rescued anyone from a crushed auto on its own it takes dedicated people. Within Kimberton Fire Company, human resources are our greatest assets.
No matter what your age or sex, we need your help!
Firefighting is not for everyone but volunteering can be.
We need Fire & Rescue personnel, Fire Police, Firefighter Associates
or any unique talent or skill you may have to offer.
Just let us know your skills and we’ll find a way to use them!
We want you to volunteer and become part of our team.

You will be required to complete two (2) background clearances that are required by the State of Pennsylvania for Fire Departments. Your application cannot be voted on until they are completed. There is no charge for either clearance as long as Volunteer Firefighter is checked and Kimberton Fire Company is listed for the Organization.

What Can You Do?
No matter what your age or sex, we need your help. Firefighting is not for everyone but volunteering can be.

Maybe you are not looking to be a firefighter but you still want to help out. We can still use you! Would you be willing to help at banquets (serving food, helping prepare meals, washing or drying dishes during an event?) Do you have administrative skills? Remember – Running a Fire Department is much like running any business. How about directing traffic at accidents or fire scenes…..The Fire police are really in need of help. We’ll pay for your training and equip you for the task.
Kimberton Fire Company Volunteers are comprised of your neighbors, your friends and maybe even your relatives! People just like yourself - with families, jobs and active lifestyles who still manage to find the time to volunteer and give back to their community.
Our Fire Station offers friendly environments for you to learn new Firefighting and rescue skills and the opportunity to discover your own capabilities. Make new friends and learn to work as part of a team. Gain the self-satisfaction of being at your best while others are dealing with what is often the worst experience that life has to offer.
Volunteering in emergency services is one of the most important decisions you may make in your lifetime. We hope that you give this decision the time and serious consideration it deserves, and ultimately decide to join our ranks and be one of us!
