At 0025 Hours Chester County communications alerted Kimberton Fire (61) and West End Ambulance (67) for an auto accident on Hares Hill Road N/o Kimberbrea Drive in East Pikeland Township. Before Units arrived the fire communications center upgraded the assignment to a "serious" accident & added Rescue 72 from the substation to the call. At 0032 Hrs Chief 61 arrived along with the MICU and found a vehicle overturned with one trapped inside. Engine 65 was dispatched to Station 61 to handle the possible helicopter landing for Pennstar2. The crews from 61 & 72 removed the front passenger door and had the patient extricated by 0050 hrs. West End transported the driver to the Kimberton Fire Station where Pennstar2 flew the female patient to HUP. Units cleared the accident scene by 0140 hours.
