| Dear Kimberton Fire Company, I wanted to thank you for saving my life on
October 1st, 2004. I was the female trapped in the automobile that crashed over
the embankment on Route 29. I am so grateful to Chief Fields, Deputy Chief Steve
Hughes and everyone involved in the extrication from the car. It was a very
traumatic incident but you managed to keep me calm and after hours of hard work
and diligence I was freed from the scariest event of my life. Your
professionalism and compassion made all the difference in the world. Now, 5
weeks later I am still recovering from the severe injuries sustained from the
crash. I broke several bones in my feet, had ligament damage, severe contusions
and lacerations, but am expected to fully heal. I spent a week in a wheelchair,
two weeks on crutches, and now I am walking (with both legs still casted). I
feel lucky to be alive and am so grateful for your help with the accident. You
are all heroes and I will never forget what you did for me! Thank you again!
Sincerely,
Jennifer Vanett |

Dear Chief,
Here's a quick thank you to you and your fire company -- especially Fire
Fighters Nick, B.J and Pat and Paramedic Maura -- for an interesting and
valuable evening for our troop. The adults even learned a thing or two!
When important, skilled and respected adults take time out of their day to spend
it with children, the impact is so great. I am certain that the scouts learned a
great deal thanks to Company 61 and are well on their way to earn their Safety
Award.
Best Regard,
Johanna Gilbert

Hello!
Our daughter and three granddaughters were at your firehouse yesterday morning
with the Phoenixville Mom’s Club.
Our 5 year old and 3 year old granddaughters were so excited they couldn’t even
get the words out fast enough. You see, their PopPop has been a Philadelphia
Firefighter for 35 years and this is a very special part of their life. To see
the environment, apparatus and talk to the firefighters makes it all so real for
them. HR has brought her PopPop’s fire helmet to show and tell at school two
years in a row because she is so proud.
I just want to thank you for making this such a wonderful visit for our girls.
Be safe and God bless you all for the wonderful work you do,
Ronnie |

Chief Fields,
My family and I would like to thank your Officers and Staff that aided in the
care of my Aunt who fell at home on 2/5/2004.
As a fellow Emergency Service provider, I am aware of the difficulties that we
all face on a daily basis with declining volunteerism and the high training
demands that we are subject to.
It is reassuring to know that The Kimberton Fire Company continues to provide
highly trained and professional staff, who responded during a my family's time
of need.
Please forward this email to everyone involved.
Again, Thank You All.

| September 25, 2003 Hi.
I just wanted to express appreciation for the guys who came out to
help us pump out our basement last Friday after the hurricane. One of your guys, John McNulty, made a call, and in no time the truck was there to
help us out.
Thanks again. We really appreciate it!

While this family experienced only a smoke
condition in their house: In a fire, smoke and heat rise so
remember to crawl under the smoke. If you stand up
the heat will burn your lungs. Practice a home fire drill
at least once a year and don't forget to have a Meeting
Place so that you can make sure that everyone is out.
If you need assistance planning your home
fire drill or would like you organization to participate in
a fire safety tour, please contact the station at 610-933-4566
and leave a message.
