Patches & Pumper™ Robot
 Patches
& Pumper is an exciting tool for teaching fire safety. A fully animated
Dalmatian dog and fire truck robot, he moves, speaks, listens, plays audio
cassette tapes, winks, and blinks, all by remote control.
Patches & Pumper can be used with great success in school
classrooms, assemblies, station tours, mall exhibits, state and local fairs,
and any other setting where your safety message is presented.
Patches & Pumper is just the right size for teaching children because he can
communicate with them at their level. He is agile enough to maneuver easily
in school classrooms and other restricted areas. With Patches' friendly,
furry face, he presents a positive image to all, while he steers Pumper
around the room. His headlights, taillights, and flashing warning lights
make him highly visible.
Patches has an entire line of available educational materials that will keep
your prevention message in the minds of the children long after they leave
your program. Coloring books, crayons, pencils, bookmarks, certificates,
badges, magnets, and more! All feature Patches teaching your safety message.

- Lights and Siren - Headlights,
taillights, and siren switch on and off by remote control.
- Emergency Light Bar - Remote
controlled light bar with two quartz halogen rotating beacons. .
- Controls Carrying Case -
Included as a standard feature is a molded polyethylene case,
with locking latches and foam padded interior for protecting the
operator controls during transport and storage.
- Rechargeable Batteries - A
sealed, maintenance-free, gelled, lead acid battery (12 Volt 31
AH) is included inside Pumper, complete with charger. The radio
control transmitter comes with a rechargeable NiCad battery pack
and an appropriate charger.
- Voice System - Two-way, full
duplex, wireless voice system allows the operator to both talk
and listen to the audience at the same time.
- Audio Cassette Player - A
standard AM/FM stereo allows Patches & Pumper to play
pre-recorded music and messages activated by you, through the
remote control unit.
- Safety Shoulder Harness -
Promotes safety while holding Patches securely in his seat.

- Moving Eyes and
Eyelids - Patches' eyes move left and right by remote
control allowing him to look at the children. With moving eyes
he comes to life. Patches' eyelids open and close separately by
remote control allowing Patches to wink, blink, and go to sleep.

Pumper is a custom molded detailed fire truck shaped body made
of sturdy, impact resistant ABS plastic manufactured by
Robotronics. Together they weigh less than 100 pounds, and are
37 inches long, 24 inches wide, and 37 inches tall.
