FIREFIGHTERS TRAIN ON LADDERS AND ROOF VENTALATION SKILLS

This week's Wednesday Night Drill was working with Ground Ladders and roof ventilation. Crews mounted Skids on the roof of an abandoned home (scheduled for demolishing) to practice their saw work skills. Meanwhile others trained on using the Tower bucket and worked with ground ladders. Each week on Wednesday night volunteers train to build their skills to help them be ready for an emergency. Crews used pallets opposed to cutting the roof, until the very end, when the home gets demolished.
