FIREFIGHTERS EXTINGUISH TRASH FIRE

At 2:18 PM firefighters from Kimberton Fire (61) were alerted for a trash fire on Hollow Road in West Vincent Township. Upon arrival they found a large trash pile containing mostly heavy lumber. The brush truck was able to get down into the lower yard where they began extinguishing the fire. The Tac was able to come down thru a field next door to assist. Command requested the engine to respond for additional water and manpower. Firefighters were able to stop the fire from extending to a nearby shed. Crews finally cleared at 3:45 PM.
