Firefighters from Kimberton (61), Valley Forge(68) and Phoenixville (65) trained together at the Montgomery County Fire Academy on Saturday. The firefighters continually work to build their confidence and skills on interior fire operations at the various fire training centers. This allows firefighters to build skills in advancing hose, working in teams, understanding how fire spreads, venting smoke and heat, as well as communications back to the command. Crews rotate through various skill stations, repack hose and start all over again until all personnel have done each skill station.
