While doing some online fire department training, Kimberton and West End Ambulance were dispatched to an accident in Charlestown Twp. for a vehicle into a bridge, upon arrival crews noticed heavy damage to the vehicle and bridge, the driver was out of the vehicle and was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries. The roadway has been closed awaiting PennDOT to make the conditions safe for motorist and may remain closed for days to come as the wall for the bridge is pushed over or moved. barricades were placed closing the roadway.
