Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at 9:20 am Kimberton Fire was dispatched along with West End EMS for a two vehicle auto accident on Route 29 south of Pickering Dam Road in Charlestown Township. Units arrived to find a UPS truck on its side, head on into a mid-sized auto with both drivers out of the vehicles. East Whiteland Fire (Station 5) was added to the assignment for an EMS Unit and Traffic Unit. EMS units transported patients with minor injuries to Phoenixville and Paoli Memorial Hospitals. Route 29 was closed for two hours while the UPS truck was unloaded and up righted.
