Saturday January 15, 2022. At 6:45 PM Kimberton volunteers were alerted along with neighboring departments for a house fire on Jonathan Drive in East Pikeland Township. Crews quickly arrived to find a fire that had started in a recycle bin on the back deck of a home. The neighboring departments were returned, and the assignment held to the Kimberton Crews. The fire consumed the recycle bin and damaged siding on the side of the home. Firefighters checked the deck and wall for fire extension. Kimberton firefighters were on the scene about 30 minutes.
