Saturday May 21, 2022. At 4:30 PM firefighters from the Ridge Fire Co and Limerick FD were dispatched to a house fire with a report of people trapped in the 900 block of Ebelhare Road in East Coventry Township. Upon arrival they found the house well involved in fire, but no entrapment. Within 15 minutes the call went out for additional tankers for water supply. Tanker 61 and 4 additional tankers were dispatched to assist. A short while later the rescue with manpower was sent to the scene to assist. With the heat and humidity, it was along and exhausting process to extinguish and overhaul the building. 2 family members and 1 firefighter were injured.
