Monday June 6, 2022. At 7:20 PM as Kimberton Fire company members met for their monthly company meeting, they (and West End Ambulance) were alerted for an auto accident at Route 113 & Coldstream Road. Active volunteers immediately left the meeting and were on the scene within 2 minutes. Firefighters found a 2-vehicle accident which was blocking the southbound lane and another car on the front lawn of 790 Pike Springs Road. Crews found 1 driver complaining of chest pain, while the other driver advised he did not require an ambulance. Meanwhile other crew members directed traffic in the intersection. The injured subject was transported by West End Ambulance. Firefighters helped clean up the scene while the vehicles were being picked up by the tow truck. Crews cleared the scene and returned to their meeting in 45 minutes.
