Wednesday June 29, 2022. At 2 PM firefighters from Phoenixville, Kimberton and surrounding departments were alerted for a house fire in the 4900 block of Eland Downe. Phoenixville firefighters found a fire on the outside of the home which had extended to the structure. Tower 61 from Kimberton was the first mutual aid truck company to arrive. The Phoenixville crews had knocked down all the fire. Kimberton crews assisted on checking for extension before being released in about 15 minutes.
