Saturday August 20, 2022. The Phoenixville FD moved their fire station headquarters and apparatus to their new home on Paradise Street on Saturday. Members marched in full uniform from the old Church Street station to their new home in the height of the heat. They were led by a drum and bugle corps along with the bag pipers. At the new station, they were joined by Borough officials and members of the County and State government. After the official flag raising and speeches, surrounding fire departments assisted with the official housing of fire equipment in the new Station. Kimberton firefighters housed Phoenixville's ladder truck. After the official housing was completed, the firefighters and community were invited inside for light refreshments. Congratulations to our brothers and Sisters of the Phoenixville FD, May this beautiful new station do you and the community well.
