Sunday March 5, 2023. At 2:35 PM East Whiteland firefighters were sent to Spring Valley Road along the power lines for a pole that had fallen into other power lines. Upon arrival they found a sizeable brush fire and requested Exton, Malvern and Kimberton to assist. Kimberton firefighters responded with an engine and set up on the street to provide a water supply at the top of the hill. A short while later the engine along with an engine from Malvern was reassigned to a home on Spring Valley Road where the electric meter had blown off the side of a home. After clearing the house call, kimberton units cleared the scene.
