On Saturday, October 4th Kimberton Fire Company participated in a live fire training along with the Valley Forge Fire Company. The live fire training session was held at Berks County Fire Training Center. The main focus of the day was attacking basement fires because of the unique challenges they pose to firefighters. Firefighters also spent time attacking first and second floor fires. Crews worked through several evolutions throughout the day. We would like to thank Valley Forge for putting together the training, and thank all of Kimberton's members who committed their time for training.
