Tuesday December 19, 2023. This accident came in around 9:30 PM on Route 29 (State Road) just north of Pickering Dam Road in Charlestown Township. Crews from Kimberton Fire & West End Ambulance responded to the call. Responders found an icy roadway and an overturned jeep off the roadway. The driver refused transport to the hospital by the Ambulance. Firefighters stood by until the road could be salted, and the vehicle removed. Fire units spent about an hour on the scene.
