Saturday January 13, 2024. Kimberton firefighters responded for a non-emergency service call on Elbow Lane just before 4 PM. Firefighters found a large tree that had fallen on a house. Crews checked the home for safety concerns and the Chief's assisted the owner in developing a plan to remove the tree and board up the hole that it leaves. Crews only spent about 45 minutes on the scene, but not before booking a tree service to remove the tree and a plan for boarding up the hole in the roof.
