Tuesday March 19, 2024. This car fire call came in at 3:24 AM in the unit block of Glenview Rd in Charlestown Township. First in crews encountered the front end of a car well involved in flames and trying to extend into the house. Kimberton firefighters made quick work of the car fire, while others checked for extension on the house. No fire made it into the home but as you can see in the photos, the vinyl siding was heavily damaged. The cause of the fire was accidental. Chief Pollinger had command. Photos by CJ Kronmuller.
