Friday July 25, 2025. This call rang in around 5:30 PM as some Kimberton firefighters were out on a structure fire with the Ridge Fire CO and others were back setting up for the Kimberton Fair. A standby engine from Limerick Fire Co responded with Kimberton crews and fire stations from surrounding departments. The call was located in the 4000 block of Tinker Hill Road in Charlestown Twp. Crews fire an electrical outlet fire that had spread up into the wall. Fire crews opened up the wall and removed the outlet to check for extension and make sure they had all of the fire out. The incident was under control in minutes.
