Brush fire on Charlestown Road

Sunday April 12, 2026. Just after 11 AM crews from Kimberton and Valley Forge were dispatched to the 2200 block of Charlestown Road for brush and woods on fire. When fire units arrived, they found a controlled fire that had spread into the woods. Firefighters used four (4) brush units and two (2) tankers to fully extinguish the fire. A state Fire Warden also assisted on the call. Crews finished up the fire in about three (3) hours.
