Kimberton Fire Company members came out in uniform Tuesday evening at O'Grady's Restaurant on Schuylkill Rd (Route 23) in East Pikeland. They were joined there by firefighters from the Northern Chester County region, all having dinner to benefit a fellow firefighter in his battle against cancer. The all day event provided funds from each meal towards the cause and the restaurant found itself busy all day. Kimberton firefighters and families brought out several trucks full of personnel and were easy to identify back in their own section in uniform. Additional monies were also raised from raffles on donated grift items and baskets. Thanks to all who came out to support our firefighter Brother Dale Sims and his family.
