Monday, Match 9, 2015. At 1135 Hrs County 911 Alerted Kimberton Fire (61), Ludwigs Corner Fire (73), Tower 47 from Lionville Fire and MICU 67 from West End Ambulance in Phoenixville. Kimberton crews were the first to arrive and found smoke coming from the 2nd floor. Chief 61 (Pollinger) assumed command and requested an additional Tanker from Ridge Fire (62) and Glenmoore (48) Fire. Crews found a smoky hot fire in a 2nd floor bedroom. The interior crew made quick work of the fire before the assisting companies could arrive. The photos show the gutted bedroom. County and State Fire investigators ruled the fire accidental. Units cleared the scene by 1:30 PM.
