Sunday March 29, 2015. At 5:45 PM communications alerted Kimberton Fire (61) & MICU 67 from West End Ambulance for another accident. This time on Charlestown Rd at Hollow Rd in Charlestown Twp. This accident left both vehicles undriveable and required the closing of Charlestown Rd for safety concerns. Neither driver was injured and crews were left waiting for the State Police for almost an hour. Fire Police from Kimberton and East Whiteland Fire Stations closed Charlestown Rd between Church Rd and Pikeland Roads. The Fire units cleared the scene around 6:40 and the roadway was reopened by the Fire Police around 7:30 PM.
