Sunday, May 3, 2015. At 10:31 PM Alarms rang in Fire Stations from Ludwigs Corner (73) Fire, Kimberton (61) Fire, Lionville (47) Fire and Uwchlan (87) Ambulance for a house fire on Saint Anthonys Lane in West Vincent Township. The first Chief to arrive reported the house fully involved and that all operations would be defensive. A Tanker Task Force was requested for additional water bringing Tankers from Ridge (62) Fire, Twin Valley (69) Fire, East Whiteland (05) Fire and Glenmoore (48) Fire. Norco (64) Fire was also called to fill Tankers at a hydrant a mile down the road. The home was a complete loss, but the family dog was rescued. County and State Fire investigators were on the scene and the investigation continues. Units didn’t clear the scene until after 4 AM.
