Thursday, May 15, 2015. At 2:45 PM Kimberton firefighters were alerted for a woods fire along Route 29 at Peakes Pike Rd in Charlestown Twp. Brush and Engine 61 responded to the call and found a woods fire over the embankment. The fire was placed under control at 3 PM. REMEMBER: It's very dry out there and use caution. Fire personnel want to remind the public to check their local ordinances before burning.
