Ride Along With The Kimberton Fire Department
Ride With An Aggressive Fire Station!
The Kimberton Fire Department covers over 31 square miles on territory comprised of diverse mix of commercial and residential properties.
Monday through Friday 7 AM to 5 PM the station is manned by 1 Career person – backed up by Volunteers. Career & Volunteer personnel have a very good working relationship in the station. Many of the Volunteers dress in their blues when spending the day with the Career staff and promote a professional attitude to the public we protect.
Interior qualified Firefighters wishing to ride with us for the day should contact Deputy Chief Chuck Fields
at: DeputyChief@kimbertonfire.org to schedule a date.
You should bring your turnout gear and be prepared to participate to the level at which you are trained.
We believe a qualified firefighter is a qualified firefighter – no matter where he resides.
This is not simply an Observation Ride
It’s a Sit Down – Gear Up – Pack Up – FULL Participation Ride Along!!
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:
• Your Turnout Gear
• FD Blues – station wear
• Certificates – (so we know to what level you are trained)
