SANTA DETAIL 2015 A BIG SUCCESS

By Kimberton Fire Company
December 12, 2015
Kimberton Fire personnel had a beautiful day for the annual Santa Detail. Friday night was spent making 600 dozen donuts for over 5 hours at the station. At 9 AM volunteers hit the streets with three (3) fire trucks carrying Santa Clause up top. Each unit had a second vehicle following it, selling donuts to the parents, while the kids got their free candy cane from firefighter elves on the apparatus. Every bag of donuts were sold and almost 100 dozen candy canes found homes with local children. Units got back in station by 5 PM.
Units:	Engine 61, Rescue 61, Tower 61, Traffic 61 and Utility 61

Firefighter Smith was thankful for warm weather this year. 6+ hours up top can get awful cold some years.

This future firefighter came out to see Santa and get his picture with the crew of one of the units handing out candy canes.

We saw this sign, so we stopped !!
