Dump Truck burns on Route 113

At 10:36 AM, Kimberton Firefighters were alerted for a truck on fire in the 1500 block of Kimberton Road in West Pikeland Twp. Within minutes additional info indicated the truck was down by Horseshoe Trail. A request was made to have Lionville firefighters also respond as this put the call in their district. First in crews from Kimberton found the rear end of the dump truck well involved and began the extinguishment on the truck. The Lionville crews arrived with an Engine and pumper tanker shortly afterwards and assisted the Kimberton crews. Firefighters quickly placed the fire under control. A special thanks to our Brothers at the Lionville Fire Station. Photos by Deputy 47 & Deputy 61
