Accident with Entrapment on Route 113

Saturday December 11th. Saturday was the all-day Santa Detail. As crews were coming back into the Station for lunch, County Communications alerted them for an accident on Route 113 just north of Hares Hill Road in East Pikeland Township. All the units and Santas quickly responded and found a Corvette off the roadway with the driver trapped. Rescue crews extricated the occupants from the vehicle where they turned them over to the EMS crew from Trappe Ambulance (Phoenixville Division). Fire crews cleaned up the scene and quickly returned to the station for lunch and then hit the road again with Santa Claus.
