Monday January 17, 2022. At 3:30 PM Crews from Kimberton Fire and West End Ambulance were alerted to an auto accident on Charlestown Rd at Pickering Dam Rd. Initial reports indicated one person was trapped in a car. Upon arrival of Fire and EMS, crews found the driver of the car unable to get out, as her car door was up against the tractor trailer. The driver advised the EMS crew she was uninjured, and she was assisted out across the passenger seat. While this was happening, fire units and fire police closed down Charlestown Road between Church Road and Hollow Rd. Fire Police from the East Whiteland Fire Station assisted at Charlestown & Hollow Rds. Fire and EMS crews spent about 45 minutes on the scene.
