Thursday March 3, 2022. Just after 11 PM firefighters from Kimberton Fire and surrounding departments were alerted for a house fire on Hunt Lane in East Pikeland Township. Within 2 minutes, Deputy 61, another firefighter and the police were on the scene. The fire had begun on the rear deck of the home and extended up the outside wall of the patio room. The fire was quickly knocked down. Firefighters from Kimberton and Phoenixville then opened up a portion of the wall to expose any hidden fire. Once that was done, additional apparatus was released, and crews awaited the County Fire investigators. The cause was listed as Accidental, and units cleared the scene just after midnight.
