By Deputy Chief Chuck Fields
March 23, 2022

The photo shows Tower 61 standing by in the Collegeville Fire Station, while covering a 6-hour shift for Trappe's ladder truck. Local Fire stations have been taking shifts, in an effort to allow Trappe volunteers time to grieve.

Trappe's Fire Chief and Pennsylvania State Trooper Branden T. Sisca were killed in the line of duty on Interstate 95 on March 21, 2022. Brandon had been a volunteer firefighter since the age of 16. Branden leaves behind his wife Brittany and their unborn child. He is also survived by his parents Craig and Marcy Sisca.

Donations to Branden’s Wife and Child can be made through the Montgomery County Hero Fund.
