Thursday June 9, 2022. Around 1:30 AM this morning, Kimberton firefighters were dispatched to assist the Ridge Fire Company on a barn fire. The fire was on Kolb Road off Bethel Church Road in East Coventry Township. Kimberton, Norco, Limerick and Valley Forge were all part of a Tanker task force alarm to bring and supply water for this fire. Access issues, heavy rain and thunderstorms hindered firefighting activities. Crews cleared the call by 4 AM.
